Refund policy

Some items are sold as open-box or scratch-and-dent. These products are fully tested and functional, and any cosmetic imperfections are disclosed prior to purchase. Because many of our products are discounted, open-box, or scratch-and-dent items, refunds are provided in certain cases where:

  • The product is defective and not covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, and
  • The issue occurs within KC Appliance Outlet’s 6-month limited warranty period,

In such cases, we will repair or replace the product at our discretion.  If a repair  is not possible due to parts availability or cost exceeding replacement value, we will offer a comparable replacement or refund.

 Please contact us within 6 months of purchase (or within 48 hours for shipping damage) to initiate a warranty claim. You can call or use the contact form on our website to begin the process.

Proof of purchase (receipt or order record) is required. If your receipt is lost, we can verify the purchase using our sales records.   

Shipping & Delivery Concerns

If a product arrives damaged during delivery, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt so we can assist with a claim or replacement.

Order Cancellations (Before Shipping)

At KC Appliance Outlet, we understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your order before it ships, we do our best to make the process simple and hassle-free.

Can I Cancel My Order Before It Ships?

Yes. Customers are allowed to cancel orders before the item has shipped or been scheduled for delivery.

How to Request a Cancellation

To cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible:

Cancellation Timeframe

To guarantee we can stop your order before it leaves our warehouse, please submit your cancellation request:

  • As soon as possible, preferably immediately after placing the order
  • No later than 3:00 PM Central the next business day

Orders that have already shipped, been loaded for delivery, or assigned to a delivery route cannot be canceled. In these cases, you may still be eligible for a return following our Return Policy.

What Happens After I Cancel?

If your order qualifies for cancellation:

  • We will confirm the cancellation by phone or email
  • Your payment will be voided or refunded according to our Refund Policy
  • No cancellation fee is applied for orders canceled within the approved timeframe
